Niigata, Japan, Sept 29, 2010 - (ACN Newswire) - The Economist Intelligence Unit recently announced its 2010 MBA rankings, and for the eighth time the Graduate School of International Management (GSIM) at the International University of Japan (IUJ) has been listed as one of the world's top 100 business schools. IUJ's overall rank is 83rd. The GSIM at IUJ was the ONLY school from Japan to again be included and ranked 10th among the 13 schools from the Asia-Pacific region.
"We are very pleased to once again be listed in the Top 100 Business School rankings by the Economist Intelligence Unit," stated GSIM Dean Dr. Philip Sugai, "and we will continue our efforts to further improve our capabilities to climb even higher in these rankings going forward."
In addition to being 83rd in the world overall, IUJ also achieved positive results across a number of key ranking categories:
------------------------------------------------------- Criteria Global Ranking ------------------------------------------------------- Jobs found through the career service 29th Post-graduation salary 36th Internationalism of alumni 29th Alumni effectiveness 52nd -------------------------------------------------------
Despite of the global economic downturn and difficulties in the job markets, IUJ believes, securing the position of 29th in "Jobs found through the career service" is quite an achievement.
