To develop a Finance Management System for the Subordinate Courts of Singapore |
SINGAPORE, Nov 16, 2010 - (ACN Newswire) - Xchanging (LSE: XCH), one of the largest and fastest growing global business processors, has won a contract to develop an IT application system for the Subordinate Courts of Singapore. The Subordinate Courts are a critical component of the Singapore Judiciary. Dealing with more than 95% of the cases in Singapore, the Subordinate Courts seek to provide an effective and accessible system of justice, inspiring public trust and confidence.
As part of the contract, Xchanging will develop and maintain a Finance Management System to meet the operational, accounting, reporting and internal audit needs. The new Financial Management System will provide a robust financial infrastructure to enable the Subordinate Courts to manage the collection of fines, in addition to providing multiple modes of payment, for the convenience of the court users. This system will interface with the existing IT systems and streamline finance-related processes across the Subordinate Courts. Xchanging will study the existing processes and remove manual, paper based processes.
The system will be designed at Xchanging's development centre in Singapore, which delivers services to customers in the Government, Logistics & Financial services sectors. These services include IT development, solutions architecture and maintenance of existing application solutions.
Xchanging designs, builds and operates technology solutions for its customers. Xchanging brings a distinctive range of Intellectual Property (IP) assets and expertise to create innovative solutions faster and more cost effectively.
