Thomson Reuters Names KPMG LLP Certified Implementer for ONESOURCE Software

NEW YORK, N.Y., Nov 16, 2010 - (ACN Newswire) - The Tax & Accounting business of Thomson Reuters announced today that KPMG LLP, the U.S. audit, tax and advisory firm, has joined the Thomson Reuters Certified Implementer Program (CIP) for ONESOURCE corporate tax solutions.

The Certified Implementer program develops knowledge and expertise of the ONESOURCE suite of products, including ONESOURCE WorkFlow Manager, ONESOURCE Income Tax, and ONESOURCE Tax Provision software, to effectively satisfy the needs of multinational corporations (MNCs). Through this program, Thomson Reuters will provide KPMG with dedicated training and technical support that may be necessary as the firm works with clients who use Thomson Reuters software solutions in their corporate tax and accounting departments.

"At KPMG we are committed to helping our clients effectively cut through the complex challenges they face every day as they manage the operations of their corporate tax departments," says Brad Brown, partner in charge of KPMG's Tax Process and Technology practice. "Becoming a Certified Implementer of Thomson Reuters products, will further our ability to work more effectively with our clients who may use ONESOURCE products to help address their needs."

KPMG's tax process and technology professionals provide a wide range of federal, state, and international tax co-sourcing compliance, provision preparation and review services, from midsize in-office tax compliance to full-scale onsite tax co-sourcing. This enables companies to identify and implement process improvement initiatives which add value and help deliver cost savings which can have a powerful - and positive - impact on the tax function.

"We look forward to working with KPMG to help further enrich the excellent services the firm provides to its clients. The CI designation will provide assurance to its clients that they will receive the highest quality support for ONESOURCE solutions," says Joe Harpaz, senior vice president and general manager, Global Tax Technology, for the Tax & Accounting business of Thomson Reuters.

With customers in 80 countries, ONESOURCE is quickly becoming the platform of choice for MNCs in need of a tax and accounting solution. KPMG is the fifth firm to become a Certified Implementer of ONESOURCE solutions.
