HONG KONG, Feb 25, 2011 - (ACN Newswire) - Binhai Investment Company Limited ("Binhai Investment" or the "Company", SEHK:8035), principally engaged in the provision of connection services for its gas pipeline networks and sale of gas in the PRC, announces that due to work relocation, Mr. LIU Hui Wen has tendered his resignation as Chairman and executive director of the Company with effect from 25 February 2011. Mr. ZHANG Bing Jun has been appointed as Chairman and executive director of the Company with effect from 25 February 2011. In addition, Mr. SHEN Xiao Lin has been appointed as a non-executive director of the Company with effect from 25 February 2011.
Appointment of Mr. Zhang Bing Jun as the Chairman and an Executive Director
Mr. Zhang Bing Jun has been appointed as the Chairman of the Board and an executive director of the Company with effect from 25 February 2011. Mr. Zhang is currently the Party Secretary, Chairman and General Manager of Tianjin TEDA Investment Holdings Co. Ltd., he is a qualified senior engineer of the People's Republic of China (the "PRC"). Mr. Zhang was appointed as the General Manager and Deputy Party Secretary of Tianjin TEDA Investment Holdings Co. Ltd. from June 2006 to January 2011. Mr. Zhang has over twenty years' experience in electronic engineering, corporate strategy and planning, management, operation and investment.
Appointment of Mr. Shen Xiao Lin as a Non-Executive Director
Mr. Shen Xiao Lin has been appointed as a non-executive director of the Company with effect from 25 February 2011. Mr. Shen is a Doctor of Management Studies who graduated from the School of Economics and Management of Tsinghua University with a Doctorate degree in Technical Economics and Management. He is a qualified senior economist and accountant of the PRC and currently is the Deputy General Manager of Tianjin TEDA Investment Holdings Co. Ltd. Mr. Shen was appointed as a full-time supervisor of the Supervisory Board for Key Large State-Owned Enterprises of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, and also, he was a full-time supervisor of the Supervisory Board for Key Large State-Owned Enterprises of the Central Enterprises Work Committee.

About Mr. ZHANG Bing Jun
Mr. Zhang Bing Jun, aged 47, graduated from Xidian University with a Bachelor of Engineering Science degree in 1984 and is a qualified senior engineer of the People's Republic of China (the "PRC"). Mr. Zhang studied the State-owned Enterprises course at the Beijing Motorola University and the Executive Master of Business Administration course at the Guanghua School of Management of the Beijing University. Mr. Zhang is currently the Party Secretary, Chairman and General Manager of Tianjin TEDA Investment Holdings Co. Ltd., a wholly State-owned company established in the PRC which indirectly holds 50.13% ordinary shares of the Company pursuant to a nominee arrangement between Tsinlien Group Co., Ltd. and Teda Hong Kong Property Company Limited) ("TEDA"). Mr. Zhang has over twenty years' experience in electronic engineering, corporate strategy and planning, management, operation and investment. Mr. Zhang was the General Manager and Deputy Party Secretary of Tianjin TEDA Investment Holdings Co. Ltd. from June 2006 to January 2011. Mr. Zhang was the Deputy General Manager of Tianjin Zhonghuan Electronic Information Group Co., Ltd. from December 2005 to June 2006, the Chairman, General Manager and Deputy Party Secretary of Tianjin Optical Electrical Group Co., Ltd. from April 2003 to June 2006 and the Chairman, General Manager and Deputy Party Secretary of Tianjin Optical Electrical Communications Company from April 1997 to April 2003.
About Mr. Shen Xiao Lin
Mr. Shen Xiao Lin, aged 43, is a Doctor of Management Studies who graduated from the School of Economics and Management of Tsinghua University with a Doctorate degree in Technical Economics and Management in December 2001. Mr. Shen obtained a master's degree in Economics and Management at the School of Management of Huazhong University of Science and Technology in July 1992 and a Bachelor of Industrial Electrical Automation degree at the Wuhan University of Science and Technology in July 1989, and is a qualified senior economist and accountant of the PRC. Mr. Shen is currently the Deputy General Manager of Tianjin TEDA Investment Holdings Co. Ltd., Mr. Shen was appointed as a full-time supervisor of the Supervisory Board for Key Large State-Owned Enterprises of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council from March 2003 to August 2008, a full-time supervisor of the Supervisory Board for Key Large State-Owned Enterprises of the Central Enterprises Work Committee from September 2002 to March 2003 and Deputy Head of Project Finance of Shougang Company from January 1999 to September 2002. He worked in the Economic Development Research Centre of the State Metallurgical Industry Bureau from July 1992 to December 1998.
