HONG KONG, May 27, 2011 - (ACN Newswire) - Sound Global Ltd. ("Sound Global" or the "Company"; HKEx:0967.HK, SGX:E6E.SI) is pleased to announce that in May 2011 the Company won a bid to undertake a project for the comprehensive improvement of the rural environment in Fushun County of Fushun City in Liaoning Province, the PRC. Investment in the project is approximately RMB225 million and construction will take about 24 months to complete.
This project will be the demonstration project for the comprehensive improvement of the rural environment in Fushun County, covering 15 villages of Shiwen Zhen, 10 villages of Shanhe Town, 14 villages of Jiubing Town and 11 villages of Hailang Town, utilising Sound Globa's advanced SMART patent technology in building multiple water treatment plants for domestic sewage and the ancillary facilities for pipe networks, as well as the design, procurement and installation of relevant equipment.
The successful bid for this project has a significant contribution to Sound Global in both developing rural markets and playing positive and exemplary roles in the comprehensive improvement of the rural environment in the PRC.
