HONG KONG, June 20, 2011 - (ACN Newswire) - Sound Global Ltd. ("Sound Global" or the "Company", SEHK: 0967) is pleased to announce that, Sound Global has appointed Mr. Yu Man To Gerald ("Mr. Yu") as the new Chief Financial Officer and Joint Company Secretary with effect from June 21, 2011.
Mr. Yu holds a Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelor's degree in Business (B.Bus) and is a fellow member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FCPA) and a certified public accountant in Australia (CPA (Aust.)). Before joining the Company, Mr. Yu worked as the chief financial officer and company secretary of Towngas China Company Limited (SEHK: 1083, "Towngas China", formerly known as Panva GasHoldings Limited), Wai Chun Mining Industry Group Company Limited (SEHK: 0660) and Wai Chun Group Holdings Limited (SEHK: 1013). Mr. Yu was with Towngas China for almost 9 years and was with an international accounting firm for over 7 years prior to Towngas China.
The appointment of Mr. Yu will strengthen the Company's financial management and control and the management of the capital market investors' relations, thereby benefiting the interests of shareholders.
