Thomson Reuters Welcomes Ernst & Young as a Certified Implementer of ONESOURCE Solutions
Global program will help Ernst & Young to work seamlessly with clients' technology

NEW YORK, Dec 15, 2011 - (ACN Newswire) - Thomson Reuters, the world's leading provider of intelligent information for businesses and professionals, announced today that Ernst & Young has joined its Certified Implementer Program (CIP) for ONESOURCE solutions.

Ernst & Young is a leader in assurance, tax, transaction and advisory services to a wide range of publicly traded and privately held companies. Through CIP, Thomson Reuters will provide Ernst & Young with dedicated training, certification and technical support for ONESOURCE solutions used by corporate tax and accounting clients.

Ernst & Young became a member of CIP because of the market leading functionality of the tax and accounting offerings from Thomson Reuters which are designed to help tax departments, in multinational corporations (MNCs), comply with increasingly complex international requirements. Ernst & Young is one of six organizations to join CIP.

As one of the largest professional services organizations, Ernst & Young offers access to global capabilities combined with local presence. "Long-term, what fascinates Ernst & Young is how the technology that Thomson Reuters offers can support the global workflows and tax compliance requirements of our highly complex multinational clients," said Jim Hunter, global director, business tax services, Ernst & Young. "Our global experience and resources, combined with Thomson Reuters technology offer a truly seamless tax and accounting service for multinational businesses. Collaboration with Thomson Reuters is vital to help maximize business potential."

"CIP formalizes the long-standing collaborative relationship between our two organizations and will significantly strengthen the globalization of our world-class ONESOURCE solutions," commented Brian Peccarelli, president of Tax & Accounting, Thomson Reuters. "We believe that there is a natural synergy with Ernst & Young and we look forward to an exciting working relationship that will enhance the excellent level of service the firm offers as well as bring tangible benefits to its clients."

The Certified Implementer Program offers MNCs assurance that the global accounting, advisory and consulting firms that serve them are knowledgeable on the ONESOURCE suite of solutions.
