National Agency of Drug and Food Control, Indonesia Newly Confirmed Present at 2nd Annual Pharma Regulatory Affairs Asia

SINGAPORE, Jan 23, 2012 - (ACN Newswire) - "Asia regulations keep on changing, in particular in all the established countries like China and Japan. Another change is that many countries don't have regulations at the moment but they are going to have new regulations (e.g. drug-medical device combined product) coming, so they will uniquely register in their country very soon. In the past, you didn't need it. An example of this is India, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, etc. So there will be two major dynamics that I think companies need to be aware of," said Jack Wong, Regulatory Affairs Director, Johnson and Johnson Medical.

Indeed, like what Jack has mentioned, ensuring regulatory compliance has become one of the biggest challenges for products development in Asia.

Jack Wong will be speaking at the 2nd Annual Pharma Regulatory Affairs Asia conference, which will take place on 25-26 April 2012 in Singapore.

In China, what's the impact of the healthcare system reform on pharma companies?

In Korea, what's the impact of recently IND Regulation changes and what's the next step of regulation updates?

In Vietnam, what is the regulation framework for drug registration and product commercialisation?

In Indonesia, what are the new regulations related to pre-market evaluation?

The 2nd Annual Pharma Regulatory Affairs Asia conference will feature speakers from Thailand FDA, National Agency of Drug and Food Control, Indonesia, DIA, APEC Harmonization Centre, Novartis, AstraZeneca, Johnson & Johnson among the others, and will discuss pharma regulation updates and regulatory compliance in China, India, Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and Philippines.
