On Wednesday April 10, 2024, according to an article published by Bloomberg, Uniswap Labs, which operates a decentralized crypto exchange, received a Wells notice from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (the “SEC”), indicating that it faces a potential SEC lawsuit. According to CoinDesk, “Uniswap CEO Hayden Adams announced the receipt of the so-called Wells notice on X, saying he wasn’t surprised. . . .”
On April 10, 2024, Bloomberg also reported that Uniswap’s UNI token fell about 11% to $10.
