MTA HANOI 2012, North Vietnam's Most International Machine Tools & Metalworking Trade Exhibition Ended on a High Note |
SINGAPORE, Apr 10, 2012 - (ACN Newswire) - MTA HANOI 2012, the Vietnam capital's most impressive machine tools and metalworking trade exhibition, came to a rousing close on 30 March 2012. The event saw more than 4,000 attendees which included trade visitors, exhibiting staff, conference delegates and speakers, and members of the press.
A flurry of activity for trade visitors
The exhibition floor was abuzz with excitement and activity as thousands of interested buyers explored the halls over the three-day event, seeking to forge business relations with key global and local industry players. Many were impressed with the multitude of state-of-the-art technologies and solutions available from all over the world, and were pleased with the networking opportunities the show offered.
"We are pleased to see that MTA HANOI had served the manufacturing industries in Hanoi and the Northern region well. Positive comments received from exhibitors attested that our attendees have made full use of the opportunities presented at the event to review the latest manufacturing products and solutions, and network with exhibitors," says Mr. William Lim, Project Director (Machinery Events) from show organiser, Singapore Exhibition Services (SES).
For Mr. Vu Cong Dinh, Chairman of Haiphong Enamel Iron and Aluminium Wares JSC, the exhibition met his expectations. "We saw many relevant machines for our company. We are looking at the lathes, punching machines and hoists used in producing our products for household use and this exhibition is relevant to our needs. The event is very professionally organised, and we are very pleased," he comments.
Exhibitors were equally impressed with the quality of visitors they met during MTA HANOI 2012. Many took the opportunity to introduce new technologies and all received strong enquiries from quality and interested buyers.
Mr. Masaru Ikeda, General Manager of OSG Vietnam Co., Ltd, says, "This is our initial foray into Vietnam, to penetrate the Hanoi market and eventually reach out to the rest of the country. We are happy with the quality of the visitors as MTA HANOI is a good opportunity for us to meet new customers and expand our business networks in the country."
Sharing this sentiment is Mr Rene Hordijk, Business Development Manager of DMG MORI SEIKI who commented, "We are at MTA HANOI 2012 to present the latest range of products from DMG MORI SEIKI and most importantly, to be close to the customers in Hanoi. We have many visitors and enquiries for our machines at the show."
Complementing knowledge exchange with conference
More than 100 conference delegates gathered at the MTA HANOI 2012 Conference to network with industry peers and experts and share their views on the latest developments taking place in the manufacturing sector. Sessions focusing on the Toyota Production System (TPS), Lean management and Lean Six Sigma concepts and methodology saw high attendance amongst the Vietnamese industry professionals.
Fruitful trip for Vietnamese group delegates
It was a productive trip for the Vietnamese group delegates as well. Over 30 contingents who hailed from local manufacturing establishments visited the event over the three days and many had the chance to network with exhibitors, as well as gained insights into the latest technologies on the show floor.
Mr. Nguyen Ga Tuan, Production Manager of Duc Viet Company enthuses, "We are very happy with the exhibition as we saw many new machines and technologies relevant to our business. This year's show also had many exciting activities. We will definitely visit the next show in Hanoi!"
Buoyed by positive responses to MTA HANOI 2012, Mr. William Lim, Project Director of Machinery Events from SES, affirms that this further solidifies MTA HANOI's position as the most successful, international trade event in the capital for the manufacturing industry. "This year's event has been fruitful for our exhibitors and the high quality of the visitorship recorded is very encouraging. We thank all our participants - supporting organisations, exhibitors, visitors, conference speakers and delegates, and members of the media - for making this year's event such a success," concludes Mr. Lim.
MTA HANOI will return from 1 to 3 April 2014 at the International Center for Exhibition (ICE).
