| Industry Veteran and Former Director of Intel Capital Joins Semi Test Start Up |
FREMONT, CA, 2016年12月13日 - (JCN Newswire) - Semiconductor test start-up Translarity today announced the appointment of Laura Oliphant as Chief Executive Officer and a member of the board of directors. Dr. Oliphant brings more than 20 years of industry experience to her new role having previously served as Director of Intel Capital. Translarity's previous CEO, Dr. Kelly Truman, will continue to serve on the company's board of directors.

Dr. Oliphant brings to the company a well-rounded background with both business and technical expertise in the semiconductor industry. Prior to joining Translarity, she was an Investment Director with Intel Capital, Intel's venture capital organization, where she made and managed investments in the semiconductor capital equipment and materials areas. Her exits, which currently are the backbone technology for several of the top semiconductor equipment suppliers, included ALIS, NaWoTec, Xradia, Molecular Imprints, Jordan Valley, Oasys Design Systems, Crossing Automation, Tevet, and Astria Semiconductor Holdings (MicroProbe).
In addition to supporting the development of the industry, Dr. Oliphant also helped to increase the level of knowledge and understanding within the local academic and federal R&D community to help build a stronger future for the industry. She was a part of the external review panel for Innovation Grants for Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory and in 2000, she was the industry co-chair for the SEMATECH Metrology and Yield Program Advisory Group. She represented Intel as a judge for the UC Berkeley LAUNCH business plan competition and gave numerous invited lectures at the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley, Wharton, and elsewhere. She is currently a mentor for the UC Berkeley Skydeck incubator and a Board Advisor for AnDapt. Dr. Oliphant holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley. Just after joining Translarity, She ran and completed her first-ever Ironman Triathlon in Phoenix, Arizona.
